Christmas Tree Hunt 2010

The day after Thanksgiving, when most people are involved in their crazy Black Friday shopping events, we are on our way to the Christmas Tree Hunt. We camp over night from friday to saturday. This year was a to go or not to go thing for me. Being so far along pregnant, due in 2 weeks, and with the doctor's warning of "going would be against medical advice." I decided to go along the pretense of - if anything at all starts to happen, then we'll head for home immediately. Joe and I took the 4-wheeler up the mountain and cut down our big tree right away just in case I went into labor. Then Joe took the kids to pick out their little tree. We spent the rest of the time watching the kids play in the snow and visiting with family. Funny thing is that my sis-in-law Trinna who was also pregnant, due at the end of December, went into labor that night and had her baby girl 5 weeks early in the small hospital in Richfield. So they went on a trip to get a tree and got to go home with a tree and a baby! Fun times!
