The training wheels come off the bike.

On Saturday we took a little day trip out west to 5 mile pass to go riding. Joe took the training wheels off the little Honda 50 motorcycle and Averee had no problem getting on and riding! She did so well so quick! Even went up and down some hills. She did have a little mishap with our trailer. She was trying to park the bike and was slowing down. She tried to pull the hand brake, but her little hand pulled the throttle while trying to brake and she jumped forward and ran into the trailer. She jumped up as we were running to help her and said "Whoops!" We told her that's why we wear helmets and that everybody crashes. We have a pretty good dent in the trailer now, but that's no biggy as its not the first dent and won't be the last. I was more nervous that the crash would take away her confidence and she wouldn't want to ride the bike anymore. But after that we went on a little family ride. I took the 4 wheeler with Emmett and Clara and Averee followed us on her bike and Joe followed her on his bike with Hyrum. She did so well! She tipped over 2 more times but it didn't faze her much. It was fun to see her liking it, and it was even more fun to see how proud Joe was of her. It was written all over his face as he followed her around while she was riding. He's been waiting for this moment for so long!
