Lake Powell Trip 2009

Three days after getting back from Bear River we were headed down to Lake Powell. We got a great spot this year on the beach. We got the cove that had great beach area and made it seem like we were the only ones camped there for the most part. What a great time it was. The weather was mild, in the mid 90's most of the time, which made sitting outside and sleeping more comfortable, but the water was still plenty warm to enjoy.
It was great to be able to be there and actually do stuff. It seems that I'm pregnant every other time we go there, and it's always fun to see if I can still do it all. I was pleased to get up on the slalom ski and wakeboard with no problems. Joe even tested his bum knee a bit. He blew his knee out wakeboarding 6 or so years ago and it has been a slow road of recovery as he kept re-injuring it over and over again. It's finally been about 2 years since he's hurt it and he's found that it doesn't feel as weak as it used to. So with a brace, he gave it a try and he did awesome. All in all, it was a great trip with great people!
